The action list has been presented by Kris (see minutes from previous meeting) and reviewed:
nanosleep: no progress.
C++ clients PVSS integration: Slavek is waiting for Pep to come back from holiday. Access to ST machine for him is necessary. Question was raised whether shared libraries are needed for integration. TOF: no news. API for Motif applications: waiting for a decision on future of these applications.
orderly client shutdown: according to Jens no problems expected on W200 . atexit() exists like on Unix.
TCP socket buffer size: Jens tried the suggested solutions to increase buffer size for a PC without visible result. Kris will make a request to the CERN Windows services. Another possibility is a modification in ORBacus code.
Group calls: This is not considered high priority so far. The necessity has to be proved and design made first.
Logging: Nikolai wants more than one "Info" level. Kris reminded that there was no objection to the number of levels when the proposition was originally made. He will look if more levels can easilly be added anyway.
W2000 RDA server: Nikolai should make an iteration on RDA with corrections and mods of Jens and put it in Razor or CVS.
Directory server: Kris corrected the "out of cursors" bevaviour.
Distribution of timing data via CMW: Architecture work has started between Kris, Steen, Michel, J-C Bau and Julian Lewis.
